Technical Specifications
For any data source that is HL7 compliant, such as practice management systems and laboratory information systems, an interface can be implemented* that will allow the information to be pulled into the iKnowMed application.
As a Software as a Service (SaaS) application with a dedicated development and support team, the iKnowMed application is entirely maintained by iKnowMed staff – the practice will not need to hire additional resources to manage the application on their own. The only responsibilities falling to the practice are ensuring that their internal IT infrastructure has been developed to meet the technical requirements for using the iKnowMed application, as well as entering and updating content for their patient records.
